Daily walk completed✔. I already had a good workout this morning training push muscles at the gym💪 so this walk was completely elective. The reason why I go to the gym AND walk is because I believe that you should remain active ALL day. Too many people believe that if you train hard at the gym for an hour it's okay to be sedentary the rest of the day. While it may work for some, that mentality probably won't get you very far in regards to most fitness goals .

However...if you train hard at the gym for 30-60 minutes PLUS get 30-60 minutes of brisk walking in sometime thereafter, you can strengthen💪 your body AND cut down⬇️ on fat without losing as much muscle mass as you might with more vigorous cardio. This process has been working for me for the past year and I recommend it, especially beginners. You don't have to spend hours in a gym or hours of time walking. You do a little of both which is a more efficient use of time while also getting the best balance of training

This process has been working for me for the past year and I recommend it, especially beginners. You don't have to spend hours in a gym or hours of time walking. You do a little of both which is a more efficient use of time while also getting the best balance of training

Long days and short nights is my rythm these days, unlike the actual days here. I get to lift and have an active workday, but i really can't wait untill i'm back home and can get into a routine again. Taking my vitamins everyday won't make me a healthier and "hulkier" person 😅 (maybe a bit healthier) but now I'm going to sleep like there is no tomorrow even tho there actually is.

I get this really bad shoulder/neck pain when I get stressed out. It’s usually from sitting at a computer all day (and probably being in a hunched position). But this morning I *woke-up* with shoulder pain 😱 so I knew I needed to drop everything and go for a run. Running is my instant de-stressor and what I turn to when I need “me time”. It’s actually my form of meditation because it helps me to reflect, gain a different perspective, and bring an inner calm. It took 8 miles but I finally got that shoulder pain to melt away.

I haven’t been consistent.😬 This picture was taken about 2 months ago before nursing school hit me like a ton of bricks like it usually does. 😂 My hubs is so busy with his military duties and getting his Master’s. There are busy weekends with the fam and my girls. Now soccer season is among us...and my little just asked to do cheer. 🤦‍♀️.

“Life is always gonna be busy.” (I’m talking to myself) 👉🏻 I have to promise to take care of myself in the midst of the chaos. If I don’t workout, my whole entire mood is altered. If I eat like 💩 all the time (guilty lately🤷‍♀️) I feel like 💩. My husband tells me to not be so hard on myself and honestly...I’m not. I just like excuses just like everyone else here on the gram whether ya act like it or not. Time to shift gears again and find that 30-60 min a day to move my body. Best part about it is that no matter how long you have “taken off” or “side-tracked” is that you can always start right now.🖤.

❗️BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT CUES

The Bulgarian Split Squats were the most requested exercise demonstration I had, and for good reason too!

Split Squats are HARD! Not only physically, but mentally getting the correct foot placement, hip movement, and balancing the weight on top of it all... THAT SHIT AIN’T EASY!

So here are MY CUES to help you perform the exercise correctly and effectively! 🔥👇🏼

✔️ First, start by placing your foot with the top of your foot DOWN on the bench. Keep your body upright and your core tight.
.
✔️ If you are using a weight, I prefer to hold ONE DB (helps with balance, and I find it helps me engage my glute more!) I hold the DB in the opposite hand as the leg on the floor.
.
✔️ Drive your hips down and back, keeping your body upright, while putting the weight of your body in the heel of the foot on the floor.
.
✔️ Use BOTH LEGS in the ascent. Your foot on top of the bench should be driving INTO the bench, creating an extension of your quad, and the HEEL on the ground should be pushing into the ground (not the toe) to utilize the glutes and hamstring of that leg.

Although this is a single leg exercise, BOTH LEGS SHOULD BE WORKING - this is a misconception I see in the gym far too often.

The foot on the bench should not be flaccid and flopping around or sliding back and forth.
It should be stable, and should be working just as hard as the leg on the ground!

This season has been really tough: mentally and physically. Getting sick in the beginning of the year and carrying that with me for months. Running times which are 2 seconds above your PB, isn’t fun at all. But I kept on going and never gave up. Luckily you learn a lot when things don’t go the way you want to. Now it’s time to give my body the rest it deserves. .

I wanna give my team a BIG BIG thanks. They always believed in me, even when I didn’t. Thanks coach, teammates, family, friends, medical staff, sponsors (@newbalancebenelux @ciropackje) and my followers. You all stood by me & I am so grateful for that 🥰 .

Zdjęcia dzieli ok. 10 miesięcy!🍑ale o tym zaraz...
Jedna noga w tył, napięcie mięśnia, zdjęcie prosto po mega mocnym treningu🍑 i od razu wszystko jest wiele korzystniejsze, większe 🤷‍♀️ nie ufajcie wszystkiemu co widzicie na fotkach, człowiek zazwyczaj stoi luźno, nie spina się, a zdjęcie robi w najlepszej możliwej pozie nie oszukujmy się 😅 (obydwie fotki były robione właśnie po takim mocnym treningu i jak widać ta sama poza dlatego to dodaje tu)
ALE! tak czy siak na tych dwóch zdjęciach chociaż małą różnicę widać. Na pierwszym zdjęciu ćwiczyłam już ok. 3 miesiące bez przerwy, na drugim zdjęciu 13 miesięcy (zliczyć wszystkie epizody z siłka to by było wiele dłużej,ale rezygnowałam przez restrykcje.. O tym kiedy indziej) Naprawdę dałam z siebie bardzo dużo przez te 13 miesięcy, robiłam solidne treningi, skupiłam się na partiach, które były u mnie najsłabsze i które najbardziej chciałam zmienić. Wiem, że to dopiero początek mojej drogi związanej z treningami, ja dalej będę dawać z siebie 120% i trzymam kciuki również za Was! ❤ teraz czas jeszcze bardziej  poprawić barki i plecki! 
Nie żyje restrykcją, jak mam gorszy dzień to nie robię treningu żeby następnego dnia "rozwalić" siłkę i to jest najlepsze, ze słucham organizmu. Co do diety to trzymam się zasady 80/20, mam ochotę na batonika to go jem, mam ochotę na pizzę to ją jem, ale wszystko jest u mnie robione z GŁOWĄ! człowiek nie schudnie od jednej sałatki tak jak i nie przytyje od jednego hamburgera. BALANS to słowo klucz w moim życiu. 
CZUJE SIĘ ŚWIETNIE, JESTEM SZCZĘŚLIWA!😊
Ps. Nie mogę doczekać się redukcji, ale jeszcze daleko 😅😅

There is probably so much food you crave during the week... I recognize myself not eating bread during the week. Bread was “bad”-food for me. But sometimes..during weekends, usually saturdays.. I binged bread, with nutella like crazy. And a shit load of other things too. I could eat 4000-5000 calories in one sitting. Easy.

All those “bad” foods I craved during the restricted/weekdays, led to epic binges. .
Eating 1700 during the week. 2400 on the weekends, and have a crazy saturday where you binge 5000 cals(no tracking tho, because you don’t want to know😉) and are still confused why you aren’t losing weight?! You fucking eat to much.

Take my advice.... Have your “bad” foods whenever you like. Find a way to fit them in. Everyone is saving the food they like for cheatdays or weekenddays. They eat the food, they hate Monday to Friday. Which leads to obessing over what they eat during the weekends. Which usually leads to binge eating and high levels of guilt. And worst of all... you knock yourself out of a weekly calorie deficit in one bad day.

If you like chocolate, make room to have some pieces at night. Do you like cereal, save up some calories to have your bowl of cereal. Maybe even have a little portion of the food you like a lot, fit into your daily diet. When you then come to weekends...you aren’t like, shit I stop breathing if I don’t eat the whole jar of lotus speculoos.

Flexible dieting isn’t about eating as much shit as you can. Flexible dieting is about balance and not being highly restricted and miserable, which leads to guilt and binges.

Make the chocolate you like fit your macros. Even if its a small bite. Find a way. Stop letting your diet restrict you. You can have foods you enjoy in moderation. Every day. Stop having the all or nothing approach. Create balance.

You being restricted all week. Not eating anything you like, Monday to Friday. But having a shit ton of binges? Sorry not sorry, but your diet sucks. If you literally survive the week, to make it to cheat day... both your lifestyle and diet are messed up. It doesn’t have to be this way.
