Image 1: The modern Tianjin Binhai Library in China, designed by @mvrdv, featuring terraced bookshelves that, according to one of the founding partners of @mvrdv, “creates an interior topographical landscape whose contours reach out and wrap around the facade. Image 3: Now this gorgeous place, Lello & Irmao bookstore, is actually a bookstore, not a library, but we couldn’t resist including it in today’s post. It’s located in Porto, and it’s rumored to be the place where JK Rowling got her inspiration to write Harry Potter! Photo by @joethommas.
