• Hey, what’s the plan for the weekend?
I know I’m always annoying you with my passionate bookwormism, but I also know that weekends are more for chilling than anything else, and all we really want is do nothing all day. We even forget how to read sometimes. It’s too demanding for our busy brains overwhelmed by the week full of work and responsibilities everywhere.
So, here’s what I’m doing this weekend, I’m gonna watch some @netflix and relax.
There’s a new season of COMEDIAN IN CARS GETTING COFFEE with @jerryseinfeld (I love that show), there’s a new series called ANOTHER LIFE, which seems very interesting, and me and my kids are watching START TREK - THE ORIGINAL SERIES (and I’m watching it for real for the first time).
It’s funny to enjoy watching it now, you know. I’ve always been more of a Warsie than a Trekkie (meaning I always loved Star Wars more than Start Trek), but I’m really enjoying the philosophical touch in every episode where Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock discuss aspects of the human nature like two PhD friends chatting in a pub while something pretty f*ed-up is happening around them on the Enterprise (my 3-year-old daughter is enjoying it a lot too, apparently).
☕️ So, what are you doing this weekend? And what are you watching if you’re “netflixing” this weekend too?
MR. SPOCK — What now, Captain?
CAPTAIN KIRK — Engage! 👇🏻
