When I was in the film 300. 😂😂 nah it’s actually a goal of what I’d like to achieve. Set the bar high and work your arse off. Look forward to getting the rewards for my hard work. Now I don’t have a job atm I’ll be knuckling down hard at the gym as well as looking for work.

Just over here tryna build a back at 11 foot tall it seems 😅

Not having flexibility or realistically strength in these kind of movements has hindered me in the past, being taller and a lazy shit hasn’t helped, surprise surprise 😂

Frequent stretching, physio trips and actively working on what’s needed not just inside the gym has had a massive positive influence to my performance in the gym, who would’ve thought 🤷🏼‍♂️😂
My sarcasm is here is a nod to the fact that we can look at a situation or a problem and sub consciously work around it(well at least I have) as opposed to tackling the issue directly. 
It might sound silly to even speak about something so obvious, but I’ve had several discussions with competitors in various sport you tend to just blind eye the work that they should be doing, in the hopes that a miracle keeps them moving 100 to a happily ever after and the problems will all go away 😂

I’m guilty of it aswell, getting caught up in the smoke and mirrors that are available to divert your attention from simpler or more basic principles🤷🏼‍♂️
A basic or simple approach within reason will give you a quicker return of investment over anything else. If something’s wrong, own up to it and get on top of it and that’s not just for training either 💯

. 🔴 Le Front Squat ne t’autorise pas à te pencher en avant, de ce fait, tu ne peux pas utiliser la force du dos pour t’aider à pousser. Cela te force à garder les genoux en avant et donc à charger les quadriceps 💪

Basically reversed my decision to get into the fitness industry, as in my experience it seems almost insanity to push through the ridiculous start up the way commercial gyms are now layed out. It seems that gyms are only really interested in getting money from trainers and consumers without a major passion for improving people's lives. The industry is superficial and full of people who want to charge an exorbitant amount of money an hour just to protect themselves from the insecurity that a commerical gym system places on trainers. I don't think the industry will ever change and that makes it completely not worthwhile to pursue a career in it for me. Sometimes a passion is just not enough to get you through circumstances.

The Sweeping Deadlift is a deadlift variation where you attach a resistance band to a post or bar in front of you. This band is actively pulling the bar away from you, so in order to keep the bar close to the body you must learn to engage your lats. You can perform this lift with a traditional deadlift setup, however I feel like you get more bang for your buck with a snatch grip.

Form Tip: You need to remember that the bar needs to remain close to you at all times. The key point is when you pass the knees. This is where the bar wants to move away from you the most. So as you pass the knees, you need to actively think to “sweep in“ with the lats. Also use LIFTING STRAPS if you have them!
