What should I do if I want to get abs? 🧐
Everyones body is built different. We all store fat differently. I store fat in my lower half so attaining a slimmer belly is easier for me. Although, studies do show that women that are around 20% body fat start to show their abdominal muscles. SoOoo the real question is; How do I lower my body fat percentage? 🤷🏻♀️
💜 Reduce calories. Eat in a deficit. Don't starve yourself but cut fewer calories OR burn more (increase your cardio).
💜 Increase your protein intake. If you lose weight, you lose lean muscle. In order to maintain this, don't forget to eat your PROTEIN! Aim for 1-1.5 grams every two pounds you weigh.
💜 Up your HIIT workouts! An example of this is sprinting for 20 seconds, walking for 30. My fitness program includes daily sprints because of this. You'll burn more calories for a longer period of time instead of LISS.
💜 Lift weights!! Cardio plus weight lifting is the key to losing fat. Can't do it without the other.
There is no quick and easy way to achieve a six pack. It involves being disciplined, eating clean and healthy with a regular exercise of cardio AND lifting. HAPPY MONDAY 😍🌈🌸🦋
