I love travelling but there is also a part of it that makes me anxious: losing my routine. Going from meal prepping and weighing all my food to buffets and eating out everyday can make you feel a little bit lost. I would always find some kind of workout to do but with diet it’s a constant battle for me. Trying to find the right balance between letting myself enjoy but no indulge, rest but not waste all the efforts I have been putting in the gym, to celebrate to not binge. So this time I will be going away with a mini plan which will keep me more accountable and stop me from being a little 🐽. .

🔸Mehr Training durch eine bessere Vorbereitung 💪 man kommt nach Hause oder stehst auf und hat keine Motivation zum Sport zu gehen? Dann sollte man alles so einrichten, dass man direkt zum Sport gehen kann: Die Tasche ist immer gepackt. 🔸Gesunde Ernährung muss einfach sein 🍍Eine sehr einfache Vorgehensweise ist es, nichts Unpassendes im Haus zu haben. Das ist schon für sehr viele Leute DER Schlüssel zum Erfolg.☝️ So hat man auch in "schwachen Momenten" keine Chance, den Diäterfolg zu sabotieren. Am besten kauft man nur die Lebensmittel, die zu der geplanten Ernährung passen. Ein kurzer Aufwand von Willenskraft, etwas nicht einzukaufen, ist in der Regel viel einfacher, als zu Hause konstant unpassenden Lebensmitteln zu widerstehen. 🤷🏻‍♀️
🔸Besser schlafen 😴 Wenn man daran scheitert, rechtzeitig ins Bett zu kommen, weil man beispielsweise von Elektronik abgelenkt wirst: dann sollte man alle Geräte ausschalten oder weiter weg legen (und sind somit schwerer erreichbar). 🔸Andere Beispiele. ✌️ Auch in anderen Lebensbereichen sind unsichtbare Barrieren sehr wertvoll. Anstatt zu versuchen, weniger auf Lieblingsseiten zu gehen oder andauernd E-Mails zu checken, sollte man besser dafür sorgen, dass man sich immer manuell einloggen muss. Eventuell mit einem komplizierten Passwort, dass man erst umständlich nachschauen musst. 🤔
Barrieren sind ein wertvolles Instrument, um das Verhalten zu ändern.

The lift I was most happiest with from comp last weekend... defo my weakest lift out of the big 3 but I’m happy with the improvement 💪💪💪.
210kg was what I came for and 210kg is what I got with a little left in the tank.
12weeks training for Comp went from around 170kg  to 210kg Comp PB.

Around this time 2 months ago I was getting prepared to fly over to Germany and visit my fam. 😶 ⁣
I know everyone says this everyyyy single year, but honestly this year has gone so scaringly fast (is scaringly even a word, idk). ⁣
Tbh, I’m kinda very critical of myself (as most of us are) and looking back on the year so far, I don’t really feel like I’ve achieved much.. it’s SO easy to get into that mindset of ‘I could’ve done more’, and just being generally unsatisfied with how you’re doing life right now. Especially when you’re constantly seeing people doing/achieving great things on social media. 🤷🏻‍♀️⁣
But when I made a conscious effort to look at the POSITIVE things, instead of all the things I haven’t achieved yet, it made me realise that, yes I COULD have done more, but I have still achieved a lot...
This year, among other great things, I’ve completed more than half of my Law degree 👩🏽‍⚖️ (although there has been many many MANY tears/times when I’ve thought I couldn’t do it), worked at the Sydney Fitness Expo, travelled 30 hours completely by myself on a plane to another continent and back (anyone who knows me personally knows that I get very anxious when it comes to public transport haha), visited my mum and lil sisters for the first time in 2 years, had some CRAZY opportunities come my way, worked hard af in the gym and best of all, met some BOMB ASSSS people, made some new friends and just have some really amazing people in my life! 💝 ⁣

I think it’s good to be critical of yourself, because it makes you want to push further and be better, but it’s just as important to recognise the things that you have managed to achieve, no matter how big or small they seem to other people. 😌 ⁣

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who is in my corner (and I’m sorry I’ve been terrible at replying lately ❤) . These last few weeks (months?) I have had a pretty decent helping of stress, and starting my new job, taking on a big client and being on the road hasn’t helped that too much either. I’ve also had a bunch of awesome exciting stuff happening – so all together it’s just a lot of stuff all at once.  My diet has sucked (actually depends how you look at it, if you like junk food my diet has been awesome), my training has been ok and everything has been a bit of a whirlwind.

This isn’t one of those posts to say ‘I’m back, lets do this’, this is just me saying I’m still here, still doing my best, still going. Tomorrow we get up and do it all again.
