this is a throwback from Crossfit Open 2016 my first workout.

It’s fair to say I’ve taken some time off my fitness the past year but I’m back. I’m spinning twice a day to try and get off the weight and strength training/Pilates.
I do it not because it looks good but because it feels good. MIND/BODY connection is real.

Four not so easy easy miles on tired legs. Feeling much more in the running groove and inspired to get better. I had zero idea just how hard it would be to get back to where I was pre-injury and recovery. Back Extension

With this exercise you will be working the hamstrings, glutes and lower back muscles

How to perform;
Dig the heels into the pads, keep the legs straight and turn the toes out slightly☑️
Moving at the hips only, lower your upper body down towards the floor☑️
Bring yourself back to the start position, making sure to squeeze the glutes☑️ Things to avoid;
Avoid any movement in the spine❎
Don't bring your upper body beyond in-line with the hips as this will compress the discs in the spine❎

🍳EGGS AND RICE🍚

Many of you see my stories with my meal preps but with my feed being a bit “extra” lately I wanna stress the need for staple meals that are easy, taste good and effective for your goals.
•
Macro tracking and flexible dieting rule but if you spend a ton of time playing around with what you can fit in to your numbers, baking or creating a shit ton of “protein” treats or making every meal hyper palatable just because you can you just end up so food focused and so stressed. This was definitely me when I first started tracking and who knows, maybe it’s someone else out there too.
•
I would get so frustrated and dissatisfied if my macros weren’t spent the way I had envisioned or something didn’t turn out. I love the view of your calories as a budget, and although you should be frugal with your calories, at the end of the day there’s always tomorrow and food will always be there. Don’t waste an instant of mental capacity on stressing things like that, life’s just too damn short man!

Things I always have in the house:
Greens
Bags of frozen fruit and veg
Some kind of fresh fruit
A readily available protein that doesn’t require much cooking, eggs, Greek yogurt, tuna, frozen cooked chicken.

HEALTHY YOGURT OAT MUFFINS 🧁
Ingredients:⠀ - 1 cup (8 ounces) plain Greek yogurt⠀ - 1/4 cup milk⠀ - 1 large egg⠀ - 1 teaspoon vanilla⠀ - 1/3 cup honey⠀ - 1 cup (3.5 ounces) old-fashioned rolled oats⠀ - 3/4 cup (3.75 ounces) whole wheat flour (I use white whole wheat flour)⠀ - 1 teaspoon baking powder⠀ - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda⠀ - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)⠀ - 1/4 teaspoon salt⠀ - 1 to 2 cups blueberries or chocolate chips⠀ - 4 tablespoons butter or coconut oil, melted⠀
⠀
Instructions:⠀
1) Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners or grease with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.⠀
2) In a medium bowl or liquid measuring cup, whisk together the yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla, and honey.⠀
3) In a large bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add the blueberries or chocolate chips and toss to combine.⠀
4) Add the yogurt mixture and the melted butter or coconut oil to the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined (don't overmix or the muffins might be dense).⠀
5) Portion the batter evenly among the muffin cups (I use a #60 cookie scoop). Bake for 14-17 minutes until the tops spring back lightly to the touch.⠀
6) Let the muffins cool for a few minutes in the tin and then remove them to a cooling rack to cool completely. These muffins freeze very well or keep at room temperature for a few days (well-covered in a tupperware or bag).

I’m back on the grind fam 💕 .

Yah girl was struck with the nasty flu and bedbound for a week 🤒 Although not recovered fully, as soon as I gained the ability to breathe out of one nostril I had to get back to it! .

It was a tough session and I decided to work out on a bit of everything because my body just felt tired and weak. Fingers crossed i feel 100% in the couple of days 🤞🏼 . .

Ein Geschenk Gottes und eine Bereicherung für unser Leben. Ein so liebes und aufgewecktes Kind, es macht einfach jeden Tag Spaß ihn mit dir zu verbringen. 😍🥰😍 Ich musste einige Opfer bringen um dir dein Leben zu schenken, aber das ist es mir bis heute Wert !!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Mein Körper daran kann ich arbeiten, doch die Menschen die gegangen sind waren es wohl nicht Wert in meinem Leben zu sein. Manchmal schmerzt es, aber das Schicksal weiß warum. Auch einige waren in der Schwangerschaft da, doch dann kamst du und sie waren wieder weg. Ich muss es nicht verstehen, denn du und mein Mann sind Geschenk genug für mich 💓 
Viele sehen mich viel alleine oder nur mit Alino und meiner Mutter... Genau, denn Familie bleibt immer egal welche Umstände sich ergeben. Für sie muss ich nicht Party machen, viel Geld haben oder ins Fernsehen um eine Freundin zu sein. Für sie alle zähle ich als Mensch und das bedeutet mir alles 💓💕💓💕💓💕💓 Sowas lernt man, wenn man Kinder bekommt... Aber genau dafür bin ich dankbar 🍀😍🍀👍 Dankbar für jeden Moment 💓  Kennt ihr das auch?

Und jetzt kommt’s noch besser: Ich habe meinen Shopaholic-Cousin dabei. Das kann ja nur eskalieren!

I am suuuuuper BUSY helping all of my Personal Training clients reach their goals, find their inner strength, hit new personal levels, helping them with their nutrition, over coming barriers, I help them with self belief.. self confidence, self accountability and taking them out to put structure back into their lives if they hit a wall but above all else I show my guys to love themselves and the journey they too are on. 
I like to LEAD BY EXAMPLE. 💗 Be the person to change a few minds.

I’ve continued my running training and am aiming to finish a solid 10km jog by the end of the week, but we shall see how that goal goes. City to Bay here we come.🏃🏻‍♀️
