Do you prefer traveling alone or traveling with your partner?
Ever since I was 18, I started the first trip traveling in Southwest of China, with knowing nothing at all. For the following years, I kept doing that all by myself. I tried Couchsurfing, hitchhiking, sleeping at the airport, sleeping on the street, all kinds of methods to save money for traveling more, gaining more experiences and more adventures. All those taught me how to make plans, how to use my advantages and how to climb up when I fell down physically and mentally.
Traveling alone is the best way to know new people and think about yourself.
For the last five years, I started to travel with friends, most of time traveling with my partner. I became more patient and more responsible. Traveling alone, you can only focus on yourself, which is easy. Making plans for two is not easy, no matter how much you both have in common, people are always different, which makes things get harder.
However, traveling with my partner gave me more laughter, and more moments of sharing with each other whenever you had an idea. Is it hard? Of course! But the moments or memories you both created would definitely make you both a better person.
I’m not saying which one is better, traveling alone or with your partner. But the most important thing is, which one can make you feel happy.
