How many of you think you can slack off and it’s okay to eat unhealthy as long as you get a good workout in?? I used to think the same thing until I listened to a Doctor speak about the importance of nutrition ESPECIALLY after you workout. He stated that if you are working out you need to focus on eating even better because you are breaking your muscles down and you need whole food nutrition to build them back up. When we work out we naturally put some stress on our bodies so it is so important to have good nutrition and a lot of antioxidants to get rid of the free radicals and oxidative stress. He even said that if you exercise and don’t eat healthy enough you are actually shortening your life span! I’m telling you this because I feel it is my purpose to help people learn the importance of nutrition. I tell people how important it is to move your body but eating healthy must go along with it! •

I try really hard to always get enough nutrients into my diet but we need 9-13 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday! That’s why I take those little capsules next to my salad. Those alone add an extra 30 fruits, veggies, and berries into my diet. Which is exactly what I need after a great workout💪 •

When God gave me this little bundle of joy I realized that I have a greater purpose in this life than I ever imagined. My main purpose is to live my life for Christ so that others may see him in me. God blessed me with this beautiful baby boy and it’s my job to take care of him and lead him in the Lord’s direction. 🌿

In order for me and Sam to do that we must take care of our bodies. I realize now more than ever that we shouldn’t take life for granted. 白衣天使忘了一個步驟,壓脈帶沒減壓!

捐血時會使用壓脈帶或橡皮軟管對靜脈進行加壓。

原因是血袋(針筒)內可能會有殘留的空氣『空氣正處於負壓環境中』,若這時把軟管鬆開,容易讓空氣進到血管內!若是不慎容易造成血拴(血液接觸空氣會有凝結的情況) 。

當血流順利往血袋裡,如沒把壓脈帶稍微鬆開,會導致手臂缺血缺氧,手會發冷、麻痺。

注意!👉捐血過程中如有任何不適,請立即向工作人員反應,不要害羞!

記得!捐血後,24小時內不要進行劇烈運動,或不要搬提重物。因為會導致腦部缺氧而暈倒!!!
也盡量不要喝酒、泡溫泉。

Traveling to see my WI tribe!!! I’m often asked what my must-have oils are to travel with...here they are!! The others are in my checked bag but when I’m traveling light, these are the few that I cannot be without!
Peppermint- any digestive discomfort, head tension, muscle soreness or for a quick energy boost!
Wild Orange - it partners beautifully with peppermint and is so yummy in my water!
Balance - need to stay grounded even while flying! Anxious feelings have no chance with this blend!

Want my egg muffin recipe?? I’m not sure when I’ll get it up on the website, so thought I’d share here. Make sure to click the save button on this post! 😊

- 12 eggs
- 16oz frozen broccoli
- 1 package bacon (8 pieces)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Cook the bacon until it’s crispy and cooked, then crumble it up. While the bacon is cooking thaw the broccoli in a colander under cool water. Add the eggs to a mixing bowl or large (4-cup) measuring cup and whisk until beaten.

Preheat oven to 350F. In a 12-cup muffin pan add several pieces of thawed broccoli to a each cup (note: you could also use fresh, lightly steamed broccoli). Then top with a sprinkle of crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Fill the cups 80% full with beaten eggs. Bake the egg muffins for 25 min or until done. Enjoy!

{ This salmon recipe is super quick to put together and even faster on the clean-up duty, thanks to our one-sheet pan method. We love serving this salmon for a quick dinner, but it's equally as great for prepping ahead a few lunches to take with you as your food prep throughout the week. Feel free to double or triple this recipe to fit your family size...just use 2 large sheet pans instead, so there isn't any overcrowding because those potatoes need space to crisp up! }

makes 2 servings 
Ingredients:
2, 6-7 ounce skinless wild salmon fillets 
2-3 medium red potatoes, diced into small 0.5" bite sized pieces
sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
2 Tbsps clarified butter, or ghee melted
3 fresh garlic cloves, minced or pressed
1 tsp chili flakes, or to taste
2 Tbsps chopped fresh parsley leaves, to garnish

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees f. and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a very small bowl add melted butter with minced garlic, chili flakes a pinch of sea salt and pepper. Whisk vigorously to emulsify.

On a baking sheet, arrange potatoes in a single layer. Drizzle with half of the garlic butter mixture and toss to get them all coated. Roast in your preheated oven for 8 minutes. 
Remove the pan from the oven and arrange the salmon in between the potatoes.

Brush with the remaining garlic butter mixture. 
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and flaky. 
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and enjoy! 
Keep refrigerated in air tight glass containers for up to 3 days.
