A basic pescatarian diet is vegetarian with the addition of fish and seafood. Pescatarians have no problems eating whole grain and grain products, Nuts and nut butters as well as peanuts and seeds.

They also eat Fruits, vegetables, eggs, fish and shellfish, diary products like youghurt and milk, seeds including hemp, flaxseeds, and chia.

Legumes and their products like beans, tofu, humus, and lentils are also a part of a pescatarian diet. Pescatarians should not have any interest in feeding on chicken, beef, pork, turkey, lamb, wild game, or any other land animals for that matter.

Tonight’s meal prep was quick and easy. 
I tried a new recipe; cauliflower Mac and cheese. I can’t believe how easy it was and it looks delicious. I thought it would be the perfect indulgent serving size for lunches. 
I also cut up some grapefruit and picked some grapes. Then I made a little snack box with salami, Swiss cheese and pickle spears.

Recipe testing for this year’s vegan Thanksgiving. This winter squash is stuffed with hearty fall ingredients. .
The butternut squash is roasted in the oven with vegan butter and cinnamon. Then the mushrooms and kale are sautéed down with coco aminos and mixed into the cooked quinoa.

▫️Pinch of pink Himalayan salt⁠

PEANUT BUTTER PRALINE TOPPING⁠
▫️1 cup smooth peanut butter⁠
▫️1 tbsp coconut oil⁠
▫️1/4 cup medjool dates⁠
▫️Tbsp fat free quark⁠
▫️6-8 drops of zero sugar flavour drops⁠
▫️Pinch of pink Himalayan salt⁠
▫️20g Dark chocolate melted with coconut oil *(drizzled on the top)*⁠

HOW:⁠
▫️ For the chocolate base: blend the base ingredients in a food processor until it’s all combined. Put the mixture into a loaf tin and pat down before placing in the freezer⁠
▫️For the top filling: combine all the ingredients in a food processor and then smooth over the chocolate base. Melt the dark choc with some coconut oil and then use the top of a spoon to gently dribble the dark choc over the top to create a swirly marble effect + pop it in the fridge to set.⁠

Ingredientes:
1 huevo
1/2 taza de leche descremada o vegetal
Vainilla 1 cdita

Aceite de girasol o coco 6 cdas
Premezcla apta celiacos 160 gr
Almidón de maíz 3 cdas 
4 tabletas de chocolate (mejor uno que tenga mayor porcentaje de cacao, es más sano! Yo use 70% de @healthymajo )
Procedimiento:
1-Mezclar con un tenedor primero los líquidos y agregar después los secos.
2-Colocar en moldes para muffins y en el centro un cuadrado de chocolate.
3-Llevar a horno medio por 20 minutos. Yo los hice grandes entonces me salieron 3-4 pueden hacer 5-6 mas chiquitos!!
Quedan geniales para desayuno o merienda 🤪🤪🤪🤪

📝 INGREDIENTS
* 2 cups blueberries, divided, plus more for serving
* 2 cups old-fashioned oats
* ½ cup pecans, roughly chopped
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* ½ teaspoon salt
* 2 cups @califiafarms almondmilk
* ¼ cup maple syrup
* 2 tablespoons flaxseed
* 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
.
👨‍🍳 Preparation 
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Place 1 1/2 cup of the blueberries at the bottom of the baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, pecans, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Transfer on top of the blueberries.
3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the almondmilk, maple syrup, flaxseed, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Pour over the oat mixture and gently press down to make sure all the oats are covered with milk. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup blueberries on top. 
4. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven until the top of the oatmeal is golden and the mixture is set, about 35-40 minutes. Remove and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.

1. In a mason jar or bowl, add chia seeds with non-dairy milk and stir to combine.
2. Add the matcha green tea powder to the chia seed mixture, along with maple syrup. Whisk until smooth to prevent the matcha from clumping with the chia seeds. Place it the fridge for 2 hours or overnight to set.
3. Top with fresh fruit, granola and/or nuts.

Why do they eat the carbs?⁠⠀
- they are growing. they need energy for that. ⁠⠀
- the young body prioritizes growth and needs energy for that before other things.⁠⠀
- they have small stomachs and need energy dense foods, like carbs, to get enough energy.⁠⠀

👇🏻Anoten:
1 brócoli
2 huevos
2 claras
1 lata de atún al natural 
Ajo en polvo, sal y pimienta
3 cdas de queso untable descremado
2 cdas de queso de rallar
Cebolla deshidratada 3 cdas
10 tapas de empanadas
Procedimiento:
1-Picar el brocoli ya cocido (lo puse a hervir cortado por 20 minutos aprox) y colocar en un bowl con la cebolla deshidratada previamente hidratada con 1/3 taza de agua.
2-Por otro lado mezclar los huevos con el queso untable y el queso de rallar. Agregar los condimentos, pueden también sumar 1 cda de mostaza que queda buenisimo.
3-Mezclar junto con el brocoli, el atún escurrido y rellenar tarteletas
4-Si quieren darle forma de canastitas lo hacen sin un molde de tarteleta directamente sobre una placa y “pellizcan” los bordes de la masa para darle formita.
5-Llevar a horno 180 grados por 20 - 30 minutos y listas!

Let’s focus on FUN, not candy. Here's the run-down of how we'll be doing Halloween:!⠀

🍭 we'll make a big deal of having fun doing costumes - mommy will end work early and get out the tape, tin foil, and markers⁠⠀

🍭 we'll spend the evening together after a dinner of normal food that my kids won't eat due to excitement (real life)⁠⠀

🍭 we'll try to not eat candy while out and about - it may or may not work⁠⠀

🍭 my kids will eat candy until they are done eating candy⁠. We won't say anything.⁠ They may eat a lot.⁠⠀

🍭 they will have the option of the magic halloween box as always. In previous years, M has loved the mystery of the magic halloween box and it's always had tape and art supplies in it. Today I reminded M he didn't have to put any candy in the magic halloween box and he said, "Well, we're low on tape right now..." ⁠🤔⁠⠀

Some people do dentist candy buy-back, donating it places, saving for Christmas gingerbread houses, switch witch, etc. Whatever it is, I keep this optional for the kids as forcing them to give it up can make them want candy even more.⁠⠀

🍭 I serve candy every day with a meal/snack for about a week or until they begin to lose a little interest, then I'll serve it occasionally after that.⁠⠀

Above all, focus on your kid, on the fun - they will pick up on that!⁠⠀
