Fruit contains natural sugars which are a mix of fructose, glucose and sucrose (a combination of fructose and glucose). .
Fruit sugar or fructose as said earlier is not bad for the body. Many people have heard that sugar is bad, and think that this applies to fruit sugar too.
Fructose is only harmful in excess amount and when it's not fruits.
Some foods (like candy, soda, sweetened yoghurt, frozen junk foods etc) contain fructose too, fructose from these sources can be harmful in excess amount.
I will go straight to answer questions from yesterday without listing the questions again;
👉 Fruit sugar is not bad and can never be bad. Fruit sugar does NOT need to be limited.
👉 Fruit sugar will not make you add weight. .
Too much of processed sugar can make you add. Why? It will raise your blood sugar levels leading to fat gain because your body turns this high blood sugar into fat - leading to weight gain. .
But fruit sugar will not make you add weight because fruit contains fibre and because of this fibre, sugar from fruit will not raise your blood sugar levels like processed sugar and hence no weight gain.
👉 Fruit is not bad for the body!!!
Processed sugar is said to be bad because it spikes blood sugar. But fruit sugar unlike processed sugar is rather good for the body.
