Your brain wants to keep you safe, and usually this means playing it safe: avoiding risk, staying within your comfort zone, being stagnant.
Yet the magic is always happening outside our comfort zone.
Encourage your daughter to take risks by talking about fears and courage, show her how all we really need to do is to reassure our brains of our safety. You do this by improving your relationship with uncertainty so you see it as a natural part of life.
As you accept and welcome uncertainty, your mind does so, too. It then relaxes, trusts the process of life, and lets you move forward and create the change you’re here to make.
