Here’s some choc zucchini bread for your Monday! There are 2 cups grated zucchini in this and only natural sugars! I guarantee you won’t have to trick your kids into eating this.😏 I used a recipe from @paleorunningmomma with a few swaps. Go to her website and search ‘double chocolate zucchini bread’ and it’ll pop right up. Instead of all almond flour I used a paleo flour blend I had on hand. I also used a 100% dark unsweetened chocolate bar that I chopped up. *Just my own personal recommendation, serve these up warm with either a bit of honey drizzled on top or some melted ghee if you’re feeling a savory snack!

The bright red pomegranate with its many seeds is often referred to in tradition as the food of the gods. Some even believe that it was a pomegranate consumed by Adam and Eve that led to their expulsion from paradise. The pomegranate has been known and popular as a natural household remedy or special treat for the upper classes for several thousand years.

Even if the pomegranate does not convince as a disease fighter, it is still healthy. For example, it provides minerals such as potassium, trace elements such as iron and B vitamins. However, the vitamin C content is lower than often claimed. Compared to Brussels sprouts at 110 milligrams per 100 grams and a glass of orange juice at 45 milligrams per 100 grams, the pomegranate only contains seven milligrams of vitamin C per 100 grams.

In addition to many vitamins and minerals, pomegranates mainly contain polyphenols. These are aromatic compounds that are classified as secondary plant substances. The fruit is full of them. The juice of the pomegranate contains up to 20 different polyphenols, more than in any other food.

Most of this patient’s meatless proteins  she has severe reactions to. I would not recommend a vegan diet for this patient. In fact, for a patient that presents like this, I might recommend a paleo diet and reduce foods that cause #inflammation in her body. 
Also, notice #turmeric. Turmeric is know to have a wonderful #antiinflammatory effect on the body; HOWEVER, in this case, it would CAUSE inflammation.

🍁Beautiful Fall🍁 brings sickness for many of us.😷 The last two years I've gotten pneumonia and was sick for over a month. My goal is to never do that again.💪 I'm starting a bone broth diet, 3 cups a day and ZERO refined sugar. I've done this before and it changed everything for me. I fell off the wagon and I'm jumping back on. Let's do this!!!! My fav way to make broth is with about 3-4lbs of beef bones. I boil them first, then rinse before I start my broth.

I use bunches of organic celery, organic curry powder, pink salt rocks, ACV, peppercorns, some fresh ginger, a jalapeno and garlic cloves. 
This will be on the stove simmering for 10-18 hrs.....depends on my day and such. (I don't like going over 24 hours because it can get an odd tangy taste I don't enjoy.)
It's making my house smell like a fab indian restaurant!!! Love it!!!💚🐄☕🍁

This study shows that by using circadian rhythm and light therapy led to more sleep just by adding sunlight in the morning, avoiding blue light at night, and sleeping earlier in the evening.  This allows the body's own rhythm to sync up with the Earth, cosmos....sun....moon...and voila its magic, you get more restful sleep.⁠

pumpkin spiced fluffy chocolate chip cookies
**inspired by @bitesbymi olive oil cookies hi sisterrrrr - 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
- splash of vanilla

blend these ingredients together in a food processor until smooth and well-combined. then add: - 1.5 cups almond flour
- 3 tablespoons coconut flour
- sea salt
- cinnamon
- pinch of baking soda

blend again until a thick, rollable dough forms. if too runny, add another tablespoon of coconut flour. add chocolate chips of choice and roll batter into balls, placing on a well-greased cookie sheet. bake for about 12 minutes (take them out a little under-done)!

You ate half a bag of candy corn on Halloween Or a couple full size candy bars instead because you think candy corns disgusting like 98% of the population.

You indulged in more pumpkin spice lattes this week than you’d like to admit.
You didn’t mess up.
You skipped a couple workouts.
You didn’t mess up.
You were just living. I can’t preach enough that these damn diet mentalities aren’t going to get you anywhere. Until you think of it as a lifestyle, things will never become easier for you. I strongly believe that Restriction leads to disordered eating patterns. That being so hard on ourselves & holding ourselves to these unattainable standards isn’t doing us any good. As the holidays approach, let’s work on letting go. Being easier on ourselves so that we can fully enjoy LIFE. Fluctuations are MEANT to happen. NOTHING is linear. We all do it. You’re not “wrong” or “less than” if you maybe indulge a little extra. Does this mean not give a “f” & completely fall off the bandwagon? Obviously not. We should WANT to nourish our bodies through healthy choices. But it’s inevitable this time of year to indulge. Have what you want, move on, & make the next meal a nutritious one ❤️ Whats one thing this holiday season you can’t wait to indulge in!?

Make this Paleo Whole30 Buffalo Chicken Casserole today and enjoy it all week! It has a spaghetti squash base with onion, carrots and paleo ranch all mixed in. Some people like to add celery as well. You NEEED to make this PALEO PUMPKIN BREAD 🎃it may just be the most fluffy, luscious, basic babe thing I’ve ever made and I am INTO IT. Rivals any coffee shop/Starbucks loaf I’ve ever tasted. I swear. .

This loaf is paleo, grain free, dairy free, oil free, and so dang tasty. You can use any nut butter - I used almond butter, but cashew or peanut would work great. Haven’t tested with any other flours, but feel free to experiment with alternates (just google the ratios!!). .

Paleo Pumpkin Bread
2 eggs 
1/2 cup @brandlesslife almond butter 
2/3 cup cup pumpkin purée 
1/3 cup @thrivemarket maple syrup 
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp apple cider vinegar 
1 cup @bobsredmill almond flour (packed)
1 tsp cinnamon 
1/4 tsp nutmeg 
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp baking powder 
1/2 tsp baking soda 
1/4 tsp salt 
Pumpkin seeds + pecans for topping (optional) .

Directions 
Heat oven to 350. Line 8x4 bread tin with parchment paper. Mix together wet ingredients. Add in dry ingredients. Pour into pan. Top with nuts if you’re feeling *extra* like me. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean (baking time will vary by pan and oven). Let cool completely and DEVOUR. Topped mine @brandlesslife peanut butter 🥜❤️
