No matter what your goal may be weather it’s to gain muscle, lose weight, etc. Proper nutrition will and always will be priority over everything else. You can workout 12 times a week but if you’re eating like shit you are going to be disappointed at your results from all the work you’re putting in. You can not and I repeat can not outwork a bad diet. A rat race you will never finish or win. Before you even think about working out, get some nutrition advice, perfect that and then start hitting the gym. You will be ahead 10x then the person that started to workout with proper nutrition. 💯

➡️Sto facendo un ESPERIMENTO... È ormai da tempo che leggo sempre più studi a favore della Carnivore Diet e ho notato che sempre più persone intraprendono questo stile di vita.
Sono in Paleo dieta rigorosa da ormai 1 anno e 4 mesi e come già avete letto mille volte dai miei post e dal mio blog (link in bio) ho risolto un sacco di problemi di salute e guarito patologie autoimmuni ❤️ ma nonostante questo  la mia "amata" disbiosi non vuole saperne di andarsene. È migliorata certo ma ci mette veramente troppo!

Mi ha incuriosita, anche perché, per ora, è il primo italiano che conosco che segue questa dieta e dice di sentirsi meglio che mai.
Ho iniziato la Carnivore diet da 1 settimana e devo dire che non ho mai avuto la pancia così piatta! 😳 ▶️Swipe per vedere il confronto con una foto di 2 settimane fa. Nella foto più recente si notano molto meglio gli addominali bassi, cosa che prima non capitava quasi mai per colpa del gonfiore▶️È incredibilmente bello mangiare a sazietà senza sentire quella sensazione di gonfiore, di pelle che tira, a fine pasto. Da 1 mese ero tornata stitica e ora sembra si sia risolto anche questo problema! A fine mese vi aggiornerò sull'andamento di questa prova 😎💪🏻

I am so excited to be part of the Science Media and Online Journalsim staff with this cool lady, @lady_naturalist, this summer! This high school camp is put on by @SternbergCamps in Eugene, Oregon and runs from July 26th to August 7th, 2020. Last year I attended Sternberg's Australia Paleontology camp and it was an incredible experience. For anyone interested in paleontology, scicomm, volcanology, biology, scientific illustration, or science in general, I highly recommend looking into these camps. There are camps available for high schoolers, middle schoolers, and elementary schoolers. If you want to learn more, click on the link in my bio!

Egg salad over a bed of raw organic spinach and topped with @traderjoes Everything, but the Bagel seasoning. Paired with a protein shake with unsweetened almond milk, plant protein and @drinkorgain organic superfood powder. It doesn’t get healthier than that! 
I steam by eggs in my instant pot for 5 minutes to “boil” them. It’s fast and easy! I am a sucker for celery salt and add a dash of that to my egg salad with mayo and relish.  Not every egg salad is created equal. 😆

6 6 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts⠀⠀
1/4 cup olive oil⠀⠀
1/4 cup lemon juice plus the zest for the lemons⠀⠀
2 teaspoons oregano⠀⠀
4 garlic cloves pressed⠀⠀
1/2 teaspoon salt⠀⠀
1/4 teaspoon pepper⠀⠀
parsley or cilantro for serving⠀⠀
lemon wedges for serving⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Instructions⠀⠀
Pat chicken dry and pound chicken if some parts are too thick. Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl or resealable freezer bag. Add chicken and toss well to combine. Marinate for at least 30 minute⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Place chicken on the grill for 5-7 minutes. Use tongs to flip over and cook until juices run dry, approximately 5-7 more minutes. Discard extra marinade⠀⠀

• 200 g mletých vlašských ořechů • 20 g kokosového oleje pokojové teploty
• 2 vejce
• 1/2 ČL perníkového koření nebo kávy
• sladidlo

Na ozdobu:
• vysokoprocentní čokoláda
• kokosový krém @goodieczech 
kde kódem WAYTOHEALTH máš slevu na vše 😍

Vše rozmixujeme a dáme do máslem vymazaných a kokosovou moukou vysypaných formiček. Pokud je nemáte vytvarujte rohlíčky rukama, tvarovat se dají velmi dobře. Vyskádáme na pečicí papír a pečeme v předehřáté troubě na 175 stupňů cca 10 min (hlídat!).

Christmas spirit has hit!  Making cookies for my boys.  This healthy chocolate chip recipe is loved by all.  Gluten free, dairy free, grain free, low sugar!  Thank you @raw_revelations for the high quality ingredients I was able to add. 
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 egg room temperature
1/4 cup coconut sugar
2T maple syrup
2t vanilla
1 1/2 cups almond flour
2T coconut flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/2t sea salt
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.
Beat egg, sugar, vanilla and maple syrup.  Add cooled but not hardened melted coconut oil.  Add flours, baking soda and salt.  Stir in chips.  Scoop balls of dough and place on a cooking sheet.  Bake 10-12 minutes.

For crunchier cookies, flatten balls on the cookie sheet before baking.

Christmas spirit has hit! Making cookies for my boys. This healthy chocolate chip recipe is loved by all. Gluten free, dairy free, grain free, low sugar! Thank you @raw_revelations for the high quality ingredients I was able to add.
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 egg room temperature
1/4 cup coconut sugar
2T maple syrup
2t vanilla
1 1/2 cups almond flour
2T coconut flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/2t sea salt
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.
Beat egg, sugar, vanilla and maple syrup. Add cooled but not hardened melted coconut oil. Add flours, baking soda and salt. Stir in chips. Scoop balls of dough and place on a cooking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.

For crunchier cookies, flatten balls on the cookie sheet before baking.

Whipped sweet potatoes
Ditch the heavy cream and mashed potatoes we grew up having and make some whipped sweat potatoes that will for sure be a crowd-pleaser. Cut the sweet potatoes or yams and place them in a pot until it comes to a boil.  Cover and let simmer for 12-15 mins. After they become tender, drain the remaining water and add either coconut oil, olive oil, or ghee. Spice your dish up with shallots or garlic before the best part - mashing! Use a potato masher or food processor to speed the process up. Add water back into the dish to get your dream consistency. Season with salt, pepper, and anything of your liking.

Roasted Cauliflower
A tasteful surprise on a simple dish. Coat the cauliflower in olive oil, salt and pepper, and any seasoning of your choices such as lemon, turmeric, parsley, or garlic. Roast the cauliflower around 375-400 degrees for 25-30 mins or until golden on the edges and tender in the middle. Finish with salt and pepper to taste, or even a balsamic glaze.

Kale slaw
A classic to go with any meal and get some greens in. Cut up kale leaves and cabbage into thin slices. Toss with lemon or any other dressing of your choice, and any herbs, seeds to taste!

And the reason is that - People are Different!
Tall or short, thin or stocky, old or young, strong, active or instead sedentary, kosher, halal, plant based, vegan or carnivore.. a broke student, a family who is trying to make ends meet or a well paid businessman, or maybe an athlete, an Indian, a Chinese, or a European .. yes, even ethnicity is important!

There are so many factors affecting people’s lives that there is no One Ultimate Diet which would work for everyone.

But How To Understand What Works For You?!

🌀Listen to your body. Pay attention to how you feel after the food you eat.
⠀
❓Bloated after beans? Maybe you’re a meat person.
⠀
❓Acne when eating too much sugar? Give preferences to natural sugars. And eat more fruits instead.
⠀
❓Can not sleep well without a good dinner, maybe then breakfast is not your thing, skip it and try intermittent fasting.
⠀
🌀 Make better food choices. No matter which diet plan you chose, they all share one thing: Food Quality!
⠀
✔️Avoid processed refined foods.
✔️ Limit sugar
✔️ Make mindful food shopping, read Labels!
✔️Focus on eating Whole Foods as they are the ones rich in Good Nutrients!
✔️Cook at home from scratch- make your own tomato sauce!

🌀Speak to a Nutritionist who could troubleshoot your problem and help you chose the plan to reach your goals🙌🏼

I used @bobsredmill almond flour, which is a staple for all my holiday baking! They have every flour you’d need for any diet type, with lots of organic + non-GMO options #ad #BobsHolidayBaking

I get loads of questions about my relationship with food, how I bettered it, & how I recovered from ED thoughts. To be quite frank, I don’t think it ever is truly 100%. It’s always a work in progress. To put it simply, an alcoholic who is recovered, can be around alcohol but they have to practice that self control. The thoughts are still there, they just refrain from participating/giving in. Same goes for disordered eaters. You have to eat everyday.. those thoughts will come. It’s about letting them go, to eat, & move on ✌🏼

This gal bought her first bag of cranberries this weekend (watch out, the holiday spirit is just breaking out of me 😂) & these babies were born. CRANBERRY ORANGE JAM FILLED VANILLA CUPCAKES WITH MAPLE CASHEW CREAM 👈🏼 they’re worth yelling about. Recipe is on the blog, link in my bio!

I know your feed is overwhelmed with cookies right now, so I made you these cookie BARS because variety. You’re welcome. I also made them vegan and paleo and healthy-ish and like really really good too. I gotchu🤓🍪🍪🍪

1 flax egg (1 tbsp flax + 3 tbsp warm water)
1/2 cup (125g) almond butter
2/3 cup (105g) coconut sugar
1/4 cup (60g) almond milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup (140g) Sweet Potato Flour (I recommend @edwardandsons)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup (40g) chopped walnuts
1/3 cup (50g) chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Prepare the flax egg and set aside to gel.
Whisk together the almond butter, coconut sugar, flax egg, almond milk, and vanilla.
Add the sweet potato flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Spread batter into a greased loaf pan, smoothing the top (and maybe adding a few extra chocolate chips!)
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350ºF until edges are lightly browned.
Cool, then slice and eat!

Toss with @eatbanza chickpea shells and sautéed garlicky spinach 🍃.

💪 (1) Let’s talk strength training:⠀⠀
Strength training is great, whether it’s body weight exercises or hitting some weights in the gym. This will be the best form of exercise for shaping your body and building more muscle, which in turn will help speed up your metabolism.⠀⠀

🏃‍♀️ (2) Let’s talk cardio:⠀⠀
Cardio is also great for your health but there’s no need to overdo it! If your goal is fat loss, eating in a moderate calorie deficit, strength training and some cardio mixed in will be the perfect combo to hit your goal. So unless you’re training for a sport or just love this form of exercise, I urge you to not spend endless hours on the elliptical (I’ve definitely made this mistake in college)⠀⠀

🍳 (3) Let’’s talk smart food choices:⠀⠀
If most of your nutrition consists of whole foods instead of heavily processed junk food not only will you feel better but you’ll most likely end up eating less calories than a day filled with junk food. Packing on tons of veggies to your meals will also help you feel like you’re eating more while still losing weight. Tracking calories and/or macros for a period of time can also be a helpful tool for gauging portion size.⠀⠀
