We took a bus to Bled and our first stop was Vintgar gorge.
Vintgar gorge is one of the magical places to visit in Slovenia. I love nature and Europe has tremendous natural beauty and hidden gems like Vintgar gorge. Vintgar gorge is a 1.6km long gorge located in Triglav national park, it is carved out of Radovna river. There are broadwalks erected along the river for tourists to walk on and enjoy the view. The water is crystal clear and looks aqua or emerald green depending on lighting. We are not supposed to get into the water or touch it. It is slightly dissapointing for me when I don't get to touch water but I understand it is necessary to keep the cleanliness intact. It is a walking trail and strollers are not allowed also not suitable for toddlers to walk freely as they might slip or fall off the gaps on the boardwalks. Our @soulslings#toddlercarrier was of great help here. We did beautiful pictures. The trail was easy to walk but as it was peak month there were a lot of tourists and the bridge is too narrow to let two people cross so we all had to do some yoga to let others pass ☺
It is a beautiful place and totally recommend it of you visit Slovenia. #slovenia #travelstories #travelgram #toddlertravel#familywhotravels#familytravel#instatravel#europe#beautifulrivers#beautifulplaces#placestovisit#naturalplaces#nature#touristattraction#picturesque#bluewater#crystalwater#sloveniatravel#beautifulcountries#igtuezluv
Sometimes if I blink I swear I'm back in my hometown and not miles upon miles away. So much can be different in other places and yet very much the same. And those greyer days are rolling in, so I'll run towards the sun for one last romp.
