I met Jason when I was 18. I was building my business & minding my own. My mentor said someone had a crush on me & he wanted to motivate him to hit a goal. He asked if I would be willing, as a favor, to hang out with Jason as a friend when he hit this goal. I said sure. He hit the goal. Then I got married. End of story. The story is longer & pretty hilarious (You will have to ask Jason when you see him) Following that, we both started from the bottom, worked hard, experienced highs & lows in business/life, hit goals together, & then started a family. Relationships are supposed to make you better & we have both grown so much as people from where we started, especially since becoming parents. I am excited about our future growth. For me, life is definitely about doing more, but most importantly, BEING more for those around us.
What are your thoughts? How important is a positive, supportive relationship for success in life/work?
