This last post on grip limitations is pretty self-explanatory: the longer you grip a weight, the more your grip will fatigue. You can cut down on grip time by performing reps quicker, but that doesn't mean you have to rush. 
The "good" video is 10 seconds shorter than the "bad" one here, and yet both videos include a controlled descent and brief pause at the bottom of the rep. The time saved comes from the setup at the beginning of each rep, which should get quicker as you gain experience.

Have a clear lock-out at the end of one rep, then reset your breathing and bracing, and you're good to go for the next rep. This really can be a game-changer on grip-draining exercises, especially when combined with some of the other solutions we've covered previously.

I started Ninja Training in May 2019 with Lisa Wagner (@lisaaaa.mary) and I see this as a good and complete training of the upper body, lower body, but also core and back. This is also like being a kid again and playing climbing and jumping all over the place, this is so much fun.

Why the bunny outfit ?
Well, why Not ? Bunnies are fast, jump all over the place and are cute :-)
It first started with a group of friend when we dressed as Duracell Bunnies for a sport event, it stuck with me since then.

A former dean of freshmen at Stanford, from 2002 to 2012, and the author of "How to Raise an Adult," Lythcott-Haims has seen time and again that sheltered kids don't make for capable adults.

Finally had an awesome session training legs! 😁 Haven't squatted heavy in 4 months and bouncing back from my leg, hip, and lower back injury from 2 months ago. This was big confidence booster. 🙏Still took easy and stopped at a decent number for squats along with good rep sets. Did a set of 10 95, 2 sets of 10 135, set of 10 185, set of 10 225, set of 5 245, single with 275, set of 10 225 pause squats, and a set of 5 225 tempo squats. 🤘 After squats did 5 sets of leg extensions, 5 sets of leg curls, 5 sets of calve presses, and 6 sets of hip abductors. Good session with my bro @thabigdog32 !💪

It’s gainsss season. 💪 Currently eating 2400-2500 kcals per day with 1-1.25 grams of protein per lb of bodyweight, high carb, and moderate fat.

My goal over the next few months is to add lean muscle, with minimal body fat.

While gaining SOME body fat is normal and to be expected, I’ve learned the hard way in the past that whatever excess fat you gain, you eventually have to “diet off” if you want to see all of your hard work from your building phase.

This is where I structured approach to “off season” nutrition comes in to play.

While I might be more relaxed with weighing/measuring my food in a gaining phase, my goal is still to eat the optimal amount of food for increases in muscle mass/performance, without going overboard and gaining unnecessary body fat.

While an initial large increase in calories can be good if you’re fresh out of an extended cutting phase, after you’ve established maintenance or a slight surplus, adjustments should be small and calculated.

There is one boss called Boss 😅, there’s trouble maker Gaia on second place, Zeus and finally Kyra. However they ALL respect Boss, call it respect, strong character or leadership yet it is a FACT that just as people, some dogs have a more dominant character and others a more submissive one. Most of them lie in the middle. .

Am I rockin’ those size 4 jeans I was in near the beginning of the year?
No.
Am I the lightest I’ve ever been?
Noooope.
But am I the strongest I ever been?
YES!

When I first started my journey in 2014 I honestly just wanted to be skinny.
And I wanted the number on the scale and in my jeans to reflect that.
I was so focused on that NUMBER..
That damn number 🤦🏼‍♀️
But being able to let go of that obsession, and by allowing myself to focus on growing mentally & physically as a person,
and understanding that regardless of the shape of my body through this journey,
I am still beautiful and worthy of all the good things that come my way.. has been the greatest lesson of all 🥰
It took me MANY years to learn that lesson,
but I’m glad I did ♥️
Because I can honestly look in the mirror and say that I love myself 🥰 and I can proudly say I am happy with the woman staring back at me 🙏🏻
And thats all that matters 🥰

Det å investere i egen helse er, etter min mening, en av de beste investeringer man kan gjøre! Det å ha en sund og balansert livsstil har så utrolig mange fordeler. Og med det mener jeg ikke at det kun skal handle om å trene og spise sunt!! Men det å være fysisk aktiv, spise grønnsakene dine, og i tillegg kunne spise sjokolade uten dårlig samvittighet. 🙌🏼 De som kjenner meg vet at jeg konsumerer sjokolade daglig (...noen dager i ekkelt store mengder...). Sukker, fett og kalorier er ikke farlig. Bare husk; alt med måte! ✌🏼

Det å investere i egen helse er, etter min mening, en av de beste investeringer man kan gjøre! Det å ha en sund og balansert livsstil har så utrolig mange fordeler. Og med det mener jeg ikke at det kun skal handle om å trene og spise sunt!! Men det å være fysisk aktiv, spise grønnsakene dine, og i tillegg kunne spise sjokolade uten dårlig samvittighet. 🙌🏼 De som kjenner meg vet at jeg konsumerer sjokolade daglig (...noen dager i ekkelt store mengder...). Sukker, fett og kalorier er ikke farlig. Bare husk; alt med måte! ✌🏼

Looking to build the booty?

Nothing wrong with that. Aside from the obvious aesthetic reasons, having strong glutes is incredibly functional, protective, and practical
-
They should be trained hard (by the dudes, too)

Problem is, there's a lot of confusion out there about what the best exercises are for them, and what methods to use
-
For instance, you've probably heard that you need to barbell squat to build your butt
-
That's simply not true. Bb squats are not as hip/glute dominant as many other exercises out there, even when you do them with a low bar/leaning forward positioning. In that case they are really good for the glutes, but still not the best
-
The exercises listed are some of my personal favorite booty builders, but there are plenty of other great options as well
-
The primary means of glute growth will always come from picking a few great 🍑 builders, and focusing on getting stronger and better at them over time. Make sure you include some that are harder at the top of the rep (like hip thrusts) and some that are harder at the bottom (like deadlifts)

Side notes: glute extensions are the same as 45° glute-focused back extensions. 1 1/4 hip thrusts are where you hip thrust, drop down a quarter of the way, hip thrust again, and then drop to the bottom - that is 1 rep. Adds in extra stress at the top of the rep compared to a normal hip thrust
