What's the difference between a cheat day, treat day, high carb day?
Cheat Days are often untracked intake of food with no restrictions & last ALL day, these can be beneficial when you just want to let loose & relax your mind, but be sure to end when the day ends to not create nasty habits causing in unnecessary weight gain or other health issues (bloating, low energy ect)
Treat Day is more often adding a treat into your day like a piece of dessert or a glass of wine, these are less intense as a cheat day & are more of just a taste of a craving
High Carb Day is a calculated approach to increase carbs often done the day before a heavy lifting session or to boost moral when calories are low. This is not additional calories, other days are lessened to account for this high carb day so at the end of the week it is still the same amount of calorie intake
Are these necessary? Not necessarily, it all depends on your needs & preference along your own journey,
