This ones for all the endurance athletes out there 🔥
•
If you’re an endurance athlete, you more than likely perform a LOT of lateral movements. That’s why it’s important to train side-to-side movements as much (if not more) than your forward and reverse linear movements. For this, all you need is a single band and something to wrap it around.
•
Start by tying the band around a sturdy base. Wrap the band around your waist, and get into a bent knee stance. To begin, start on your strong leg (this will be the leg closest to the end of the band that is tied around the base). Use your power to push off that single leg, landing on your opposite leg. From this position, while balancing on your opposite leg, hop in position without letting the band pull you back. Once you land, return to the starting position on your beginning leg. When done correctly, you should never have two feet on the ground at the same time. Repeat this as a finisher for your workout 3-5 times at 10-15 reps.

Student spotlight goes to @esme_06rodriguez & @alejandra.jasso.585! Esme and Alejandra come in at least 3-4 times a week consistently. If there is anything I learned in school, it is that D’s are more or less failing. This is a video I found from a few months back and as I look at it I definitely see a epic fail here.  Thanks school 👍

What we should be seeing is a straight line down to the bottom and the exact same path back to the top of the squat.  As shown here the “D” in my squat shows that there is problems in my form. •

So to the trained eye, there is plenty of wrong things here.  Firstly it doesn’t look like I position the bar correctly over my feet right from the get go.

However, a common contributor to this is weakness in the quads and potentially in the stabilizers throughout the body.

Mein Kontent besteht in letzter Zeit viel aus DB, also hier mal ein Gemisch. 
648 504 hat seit längerem auf dem eigentlichen DB Logo einfach abellio draufgeklebt bekommen.
Erinnert mich leicht an den RRX Marke abellio; NationalExpress  einfach überklebt.
Von diesen Aufklebern scheint abellio genug zu haben. Hier ist jener Zug auf der RB46 nach Bochum bei der Einfahrt in den Wanne-Eickel Hauptbahnhof.

I'm absolutely not in favour of promoting flying and I try do take the plane as little as possible. But since South Korea is a kind of hard to reach over land I did took a plane from Shanghai to Busan. And when you're flying from Shanghai why not make a trip-report on the Shanghai Maglev train. The video takes exactly as long as the train ride. Check it out on my YouTube channel.

The only thing we were upset about after taking @aubrewinters ‘Sweat Sessions’ class was the fact that she had to go back to LA!

Aubre is a rockstar LA instructor, and was in NYC for the last month teaching at @energilife_ & we were lucky enough to score a session with her while she was in town. ‘Sweat Sessions’ is broken up into 6 rounds: 3 of which are dance-cardio & the rest of strength training to break up the dance sets. It is a FULL body workout: we worked every muscle group, head-to-toe using light weights, a single heavy weight, bands & our own body weight. We particularly loved how easy to grasp her dance moves were … even as first timers! This allowed us get a serious sweat, instead of just trying to keep up. It also gave us more confidence throughout the class & felt good to get the moves down quickly!

In addition to this amazing class, Aubre is truly a gem on a personal level … Her whole vibe and energy is so authentic + upbeat - she’s the real deal! We can’t wait to take Aubre’s class at @studiob.bandier next time we’re in LA …. we’ll just be crying until then. 😭💔 xx #ssssweats
