So I decided to do 1000 sit ups to see what happens. The first 2 pictures were before and last two were taken 24 hours after. Immediately after I did the sit ups I was pretty bloated. I wasn’t as sore as I thought I would be only around the lower abs.  Overall my conclusion would be it’s super boring but it did improve some definition in my upper abs. #workout #oregon

The last 2 or so days of training have been rough. Not the performances that I am proud of. But sometimes you need to realize not everyday will be a good day of training. Be patient with results. Take the things you learn from your rough days and fix it the next go around. On the bright side, today’s morning struggles motivated be to do another 5 mile run. With almost two weeks left this month I have almost ran more than any other month💪🏽💁🏼‍♂️ #workout #fitnessmotivation #nevergiveup #running

Things that WON’T happen when you take 7-10 days off of diligent lifting / eating within your energy balance needs:
.
- you gain more than a pound or two of fat that will never come off
.
- you lose every ounce of muscle you’ve worked to put on all year .
- your strength performance takes an irreparable nosedive .
Things that MIGHT actually happen:
- you look & feel a little softer due to increased extracellular (under the skin) water retention & less intracellular (in the muscle) water retention .
- you get to try & enjoy foods you don’t usually in your daily life, & spend time enjoying life beyond the gym .
- your strength stays the same, or may even increase due to recovery & dissipation of training fatigue .

There is a very high possibility I will shit my pants and delete this post In about 5 minutes time 🤦🏽‍♀️😂🤦🏽‍♀️😂 I feel sharing things on grid post is a lot more official & adds a that bit more pressure than on stories cause with stories it’s gone within 24 hours . I generally don’t deal well under pressure you see... Although this could work in my favour 😜 .

So my news of the day.. drum roll 😂 I have set a “bit” of a challenge for myself. For 21 days I have to dance for AT LEAST 20 minutes a day. I’m super bloody excited about it because I feel it’s totally doable. I have tried and failed miserably so many times when it comes with trying to get fit 🤦🏽‍♀️With Mark working away for months at a time and Charlie only stating nursery in September getting to the gym or workout classes is a lot more of a challenge (and to be totally honest I can’t bare the thought of the gym 🤦🏽‍♀️😂) Id probably just sit and perv on everyone with their Amazing gym bods. But getting my tunes on and dancing around the house is something I can do. .
I will be setting up a group chat where we can check in daily and support/ encourage each other. .

Free style dance and aerobic style workouts are my absolute favourite because it doesn’t even feel like a workout because I love to dance so much. Even if you have two left feet the key is to just keep moving 🙌🏻 whether that be bouncing m/ skipping around your living room or jogging on the spot as long as your moving that’s the main thing. Another plus With dancing in the comfort of your own home is that you don’t have to worry about others watching,the kids can get involved! I found trying to do proper work out videos quite stressful around my toddler because he would be wanting up etc and I’d loss my place so with their being no routine as such you can just improvise 😂 and most importantly it’s free!! .
