Another trip to @xianfoods for their unsurpassed hand-ripped noodles 🍜 The noodles themselves are beautifully chewy and thick, coated in heavy spicing. I departed from the famous lamb version to try the simple spicy hot-oil seared noodles, which is a good option to let the noodles sing by themselves. I also tried the spicy and sour lamb dumplings, which are boiled and sat in a puddle of spicy oil with lots of cilantro on top. この辺はロングアイランドシティと言うらしい。シルバーカップのサインを正面から見たかったけど、お天気が悪いんでまた今度調べて行ってみよーと思います。こっち側はヒョウじゃなくてしゃりしゃりのミゾレ降っていました。

豆腐はやっぱり日本の冷奴だと思ってたけど、中華のお豆腐料理が意外にも美味しくてハマっちゃいました。LAでも見つけたいなー。

夜も雨だったけど最後の夜だからと言って買い物と食事に付き合ってくれてありがとねー。おかげでニューヨークが好きになっちゃった。

Chilli potato is a Indo-chinese dish made by frying potato battens coated with flour. After frying these are tossed in a chinese sauce which has a predominant flavour of garlic and onion.

We remember our first time trying @xianfoods legendary hand pulled biang biang noodles, right after eating a shake shack burger - it was a transcendent experience, and we were never able to look at life the same again. So much flavour in each bite, and the noodles had that perfect golden ratio of gluten to make it have that al dente chew and bounce. We had the spicy cumin lamb noodles and the aroma alone will make your mouth water. These hand pulled noodles were hands down the best noodles we have ever tried in NYC.

I've always been a huge fan of thick cut noodles, y'all know I love my carbs, and Xi'an famous eats has always been one of my go-to when I crave those THICC noods - these noodles were hand pulled and made fresh every time! They were not over not undercooked so they are perfectly soft yet still nice & chewy. Each noodle is covered in the rich lamb sauce that is meaty with kick of cumin. The cucumber added a nice crunch and refreshing taste for whole dish. This is my must order everytime I go to Xi'an! Since it has pretty strong lamb flavor, I would recommend it to all lamb lovers!!🙌
