Bojo is a small fishing town in Greater Accra, just 20km west of the capital Accra. Bojo Beach is the only beach where you experience the rich "Island" experience on a sand bank with one side being fresh water and the other side being salty. This beach is sandwich between a lagoon and the sea shores. The lagoon joins the sea at some distant point, thus making a long strip island.⠀⠀⠀⠀

"We spent couple of days in this really tiny fish village close to Elmina. We shared this beach with some locals and we were the only foreigners around. Many locals live of fishing, others will make concrete blocks using the sand from the beach and few will work on many beach houses along the seafront. Its a great place to rest and interact with locals" ⠀⠀⠀⠀

There are three types of sea turtle nesting on the beaches in Ghana: the Olive Ridley, the Leatherback and the Green Turtle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All of these turtles are endangered species but Green Turtle Lodge, which has been established as an eco-tourism guesthouse and has been working closely on development projects with the local communities since 2003.

Ampe is a simple game played by the youth originating in Ghana and also played in neighbouring areas. It is played by two or more players and requires no equipment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The leader and another player jump up at the same time, clap, and thrust one foot forward when they jump up. If the leader and the other player have the same foot forward the leader wins a point. If they are different than the other player becomes "it" and plays against the remaining players. If the players are in a circle, the leader moves along the inside of the circle, playing against others in turn. If they are in a line, the leader moves on down the line. If only two players are playing, they keep score until a certain number of points determines a winner.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Beautiful ariel footage of Wli falls #VisitGhana

The falls is known locally as Agumatsa waterfalls - meaning, "Allow Me to Flow."
Wli Waterfalls is the highest waterfall in Ghana and the tallest in West Africa. It has a lower and an upper fall.

A walk through the forest of the Agumatsa wildlife sanctuary offers a chance to see a large colony of fruit bats, butterflies, birds, monkeys and baboons.

A large colony of bats can be seen clinging to the cliffs and flying in the sky.

When Africa had no straight drawn boarders to misplace people and no wars. (Pre-Scramble Africa). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you know Africa used to be called Alkebulan. Alkebu-lan "mother of mankind" or "garden of eden". Alkebulan is the oldest and the only word of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthagenians), and Ethiopians. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
